Mason, Michigan — The Premier healthcare alliance has named Dart Container as a winner of the seventh annual Performance Award, which recognizes the efforts of contracted suppliers to meet and exceed operational expectations. In selecting recipients, performance data is collected and scored over four successive calendar quarters.
Premier is a hospital-‐owned performance improvement alliance of 2,600 hospitals and 84,000 other care sites. It contracts with more than 800 suppliers, and Dart Container is one of 41 suppliers to receive the Performance Award. Winners are recognized for their outstanding management of Premier agreements and drive toward the mutual goal of providing clinical and financial value to Premier alliance members.
“Dart’s mission is to provide high quality foodservice packaging solutions and exceptionally reliable service to our customers,” stated Tom Jewell, Dart’s Vice President of Business Development. “We are pleased that Premier members have recognized our products, service and cost advantages with the Performance Award.”

The company manufactures more than 600 products and has facilities in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Australia and Europe. It also has UV-‐curable ink manufacturing, machinery manufacturing and polymer production facilities. Its headquarters are in Mason, Michigan, where the company was founded in 1960.
